This mezzotint by John Constable, titled *Yarmouth, Norfolk*, is part of *Various Subjects of English Landscape*, a series of 22 prints published between 1830 and 1832. Created with mezzotinter David Lucas, the work translates Constable’s original compositions into a graphic medium, emphasizing chiaroscuro and the interplay of light and shadow. The print appears in a volume bound in red, containing 40 plates accompanied by descriptive text. Later reprints and revisions followed Constable’s death in 1837, expanding the series beyond his lifetime.
