A. Victor Coverley-Price
A. Victor Coverley-Price is an Orientalism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Watercolour stains always dried darker than he wanted, so A. Victor Coverley-Price kept a hair-dryer in his bag and a smirk on his face. The machine roared while he sketched Tehran, Isfahan, and Kermanshah, leaving only the right amount of blur around minarets and staircases. The 1943 sheet called *Kermanshah, Iran* shows a single rooftop caught between dust and dawn; tap it to watch the city wake up in washes of warm ochre.
