Rudolf Stoitzner

Rudolf Stoitzner is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Țării Crișurilor Museum.

Fritz Stoitzner liked to paint in his slippers, standing close to the still life until his back ached. What you notice first in his “Still Life” from 1928 are the apples—each one brushed with the same quiet insistence he gave to the grain of the wooden table. That single canvas is your doorway: walk into it, and you’re suddenly in the same room where he stood, counting sunlight like coins across the fruit.
