Nevil Oliver Lupton painted quiet English country scenes in the 1800s, mostly showing workers in fields or by rivers. His only known oil painting in this set, The Harvest Field from 1857, shows farmhands gathering wheat under a cloudy sky. Look for the red scarf one woman wears in the foreground.
