Voichița Grămadă

Voichița Grămadă made prints that capture scenes of the Danube Delta. Their 1978 lithograph Memoria deltei shows layered views of wetlands, grasses, and sky in soft greys and greens. Little else is known about the artist, but this single work gives a quiet window into how printmakers of the late 20th century used lithography to document fragile landscapes.
