Ludwig Schuller

Ludwig Schuller is an Academic Art artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at Brukenthal National Museum.

Ludwig Schuller spent his days in Sighișoara, painting shopkeepers and city views when he wasn’t fixing clock towers. He left one striking portrait of Julius Misselbacher, a merchant in his long black coat, hanging in the same square where locals still gossip under the clock’s shadow. You’ll recognize his style from the 1860s streetscapes—look for the red church spire in Peisaj panoramic al orașului Sighișoara.
