She kept a teacup full of ink on her desk and wrote letters in the margins of newspapers between painting sittings. One of her prints shows the poet Minulescu mid-smile, his collar half loosened as if caught between two rooms. You’ll find her next to the Symbolist prints in the corner—look for the one where the ink bleeds just past the plate edge, making the poem feel half-erased and therefore more alive.
