This painter made an oil-on-canvas portrait titled “Omagiu” in 1984. The large canvas shows Elena and Nicolae Ceaușescu standing with a group of young pioneers in a scene commissioned by the Argeș County Party Committee. The work was finished in the same year and signed on the lower right with two initials. Look next at the framed print hanging in the corner, where the red scarves of the children catch the light against the couple’s dark suits.
