Artist

Morrison

Morrison is an Impressionism artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

This guy Morrison snapped pics of actors from the 1800s like he was the paparazzi of the stage. He crouched in the wings with his big camera during shows, catching performers mid-cue instead of stiff posed portraits. Why he belongs here? Look up “Guy Little Theatrical Photograph” from 1896—it’s his best shot of an actor mid-monologue, and you can almost hear the crowd murmuring.
