Țiurea Gheorghe? is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum.

Gheorghe Țiurea spent years painting saints and donors on wooden panels nailed above village gateways in rural Romania. He mixed egg tempera like medieval monks, then signed his name in the bottom corner—rare for icon painters of his time. If you see the 1996 troiță now in the Village Museum, look at the left column where the mayor’s title is spelled in old Romanian and his own name sits beside it.
