Alan Lydiat Durst is an artist. 3 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Alan Durst kept a studio cat named Boris, who posed so often his tail shows up in at least three negatives. He shot Boris curled on a windowsill, then cropped the print so the cat’s face almost disappears into shadow. That image, *Feline*, feels like a quiet dare: watch how the light eats the edges. If you like it, look up Boris in his other untitled prints from the same years; the cat keeps coming back, half in frame each time.
