This is a piece of folk pottery painted with simple brushes and a horn tool. Look at the white-coated plate’s center: a brown stem holds two reddish buds and green leaves. Around the rim, three yellow-petal flowers with green leaves alternate with brown triangle patterns. The back carries the maker’s mark “TOMPA M.” The whole surface is covered with clear glaze. Tap the plate’s floral pattern to see more folk designs.
