Toitan D.Ion kept a sketchbook in the pocket of his work coat and filled it with quick, smudged figures—waiters, street vendors, the woman who sold him bread every morning. He drew them in a single, looping line, no erasing allowed. That’s how he ended up with Icoatere, a drawing that feels like it was pulled from a pocket and unfolded by accident.
