Brison & Corbetta

Brison & Corbetta is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

They ran a print shop in Victorian London where artists came to argue over ink and paper. One day, to settle a bet about color, they printed the same portrait in every shade of black they owned—then framed each one in the shop window. Take a close look at their *H Beard Print Collection* and you’ll spot the tiny differences: a shadow here, a collar there, all from the same plate. Their prints belong in Gallery Tiles because you can actually see how ink changes a face, and once you notice, it’s hard to un-see.
