Val Munteanu

Romanian artist Val Munteanu made ink-and-wash illustrations in the mid-20th-century style. His two surviving drawings in this bundle show quiet, storybook scenes: “Ilustrație la povestea „Întoarcerea acasă”” depicts a lone figure walking toward a lit doorway at dusk, while “Ilustrație la povestea „Razele de soare”” captures a sunbeam slanting across a child’s empty chair.
