Albert Deneulain is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Albert Deneulain made Guy Little Theatrical Photographs: small, square albumen prints from the 1870s–1890s, each labeled in ink on the back with the actor’s name and role. Most show stage scenes from London theatres like the Adelphi or the Lyceum, with gas footlights catching silk lapels and painted scenery. Their crisp detail and narrow depth of field feel more like cabinet cards for collectors than publicity shots. Flip past the footlights and you’ll land on Guy Little’s own album where many of these images are bound.
