Edmundo Behles is an artist. 3 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Edmundo Behles kept a darkroom in a cramped Buenos Aires apartment where he mixed paints and chemicals until his hands stayed yellow for days. He shot portraits of street vendors with a box camera, then hand-colored the prints until faces glowed like stained glass. Look up A Bust (late 19th century) to see one of those faces—soft red cheeks on a woman whose name was never written down—frozen in 1892 by a man who never signed his own.
