Bary
Bary is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
This guy roamed the back alleys of Victorian London with a camera the size of a lunchbox, snapping actors mid-change between costumes. He sold the prints the same night at theatre doors, so the crowd could take home a piece of the glamour they’d just paid to see. He left almost no trace except a stack of yellowing photos—some crooked, most blurry—where the sparkle of the stage gets tangled in the creases of real life. Hunt down Guy Little Theatrical Photograph and you’ll find a ghost in the wings, caught between art and hustle.
