George Smith

George Smith is a Realism artist. 5 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
A painter and maker of still-life objects in the 19th century, George Smith left small oil scenes of anglers at waterfalls, teapots, and fruit stalls. His brush caught light on rippling water and polished silver, while his workshop turned out a plain pear-shaped teapot in 1795. You’ll find several of his lake scenes with rowboats and fishing rods, plus one titled Another Bite and another called Temptation: A Fruit Stall.
