English printmaker active around 1806–1812, Charles Williams produced small satirical prints issued monthly by Hannah Beard in London. His dated sheets survive as H Beard Print Collection: October 1809, 30th July 1806, 1st December 1807, 28th October 1811, and 1812. Each print skewered politics and fashion with biting detail, folded and sold at print shops near St Paul’s Churchyard. Flip to October 1809 to see his sharpest attack on the Prince of Wales.
