Alexandru Poitevin-Skeletti

Alexandru Poitevin-Skeletti is an artist. 2 works are cataloged here, principally at National Museum of Romanian Literature.

Alexandru Poitevin-Skeletti spent his life slipping between two cities: Bucharest’s teeming alleys and Paris’s quiet studios. He liked to say he drew “the city’s bones”—the crumbling arches of Hanul/Pasajul Bazaca, the way light hit Radu Vasilescu’s hat in 1929. If you’ve ever paused at a Parisian kiosk print of old Bucharest, odds are it came from his press or someone who borrowed his sharp, unpolished line. Hunt down *Hanul/Pasajul Bazaca* in the app—it’s the one where the shadows look alive, like they’re breathing.
