Aurel Aniței

Romanian printmaker Aurel Aniței made calm landscapes in the mid-20th century, leaving numbered etchings and woodcuts of villages and river edges. In “Peisaj din Făcăeni” he carved soft fields meeting a distant line of poplars; “Margine de sat” shows a dirt road curling past a wooden fence and a single horse cart.
