R. Aulick is a Romanticism artist. 5 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

British artist R. Aulick traveled the Dead Sea’s western shore in the late 1840s and sketched the landscape in watercolour. The five works in this bundle show Bedouin camps by the Belus River, an encampment at Ain-Jiddy, and the pillar of salt at Usdum. Aulick’s brush captured tents, hills, and distant figures with quiet detail. Want to see more watercolours of the same region? Tap into another set titled “Dead Sea Views.”
