Henry Spencer Moore is an artist. 12 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Henry Spencer Moore filled sketchbooks with long, flowing lines and blocky volumes to plan his sculptures. In 1930 he drew Standing Female Figure, a simple upright shape; by 1938 he was jotting Ideas for Reclining Figures across the page. His drawings stayed close to the stone or wood they would one day become—thick curves, notched edges, holes that become voids. Tap Ideas for Sculpture: Stone Forms to see how a single sheet of paper turns into a future chunk of alabaster.
