Marinescu T. is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum.

Marinescu kept painting saints like they were next-door neighbors—one gruesome detail at a time. The head-on-a-platter version of Saint John the Baptist wears a camel-hair belt, a green cloak, and his own glowing halo, blessing the viewer while his severed head glows on the same platter. Look closely: the gold lettering doubles as a neon sign, the red border reads like a studio stamp, and the whole thing hangs crooked on purpose. If you spot a double-framed icon with a tiny metal chain, that’s your door—tap “Icoana îl redă pe Sfântul Ioan Botezătorul 3/4, 1887” and step in.
