Anatolie Cudinoff made bold, solid sculptures in the mid-20th century style we now call Socialist Realism. This tradition shaped statues like Gorki and Oțelar—strong figures carved from stone or bronze. He also drew industrial buildings, turning cranes and smokestacks into lines on paper.
