Vlad Micodin

Vlad Micodin’s small body of work brings late-19th-century Romanian village life onto paper and canvas. In Peisaj he frames a dusty road disappearing behind a wooden fence, while Școala cea nouă shows children in dark smocks filing into a freshly whitewashed schoolhouse. The print Mal captures a single fishing boat drawn up on shingle, and Curte records the angled shadows of a courtyard well at dusk.
