Alice Brinsley is an Impressionism artist. 6 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Alice Brinsley painted bright watercolours of the Crystal Palace interiors in the 1880s. She captured the Marbled Room’s statues, the Egyptian Court’s Karnak columns, and the Byzantine Court’s arches in quick, precise strokes. Her small scenes show off the glass-and-iron building’s grand spaces while the paint is still wet and vivid. Tap into her Marbled Room with Statues at Crystal Palace (c. 1886) to step inside the vanished 19th-century exhibition hall.
