Vanderweyde is an Impressionism artist. 3 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Dry plates and gaslight flickered behind the curtain as Vanderweyde turned stage moments into still portraits. Three Guy Little Theatrical Photographs survive from the 1880s, each freezing actors mid-gesture under the hot studio lamps of London’s West End. The images are small, square, and sharp—every ruffle of a sleeve and smudge of greasepaint preserved for the footlights crowd. Step closer to see how the gaslight bleaches the whites of eyes and edges the costumes in silver. Tap Guy Little Theatrical Photograph (1880) to study the next frame.
