Amedeo Preziosi is an Impressionism artist. 7 works are cataloged here, principally at National Museum of Art of Romania.

Born in Malta, Amedeo Preziosi spent years in Romania painting the daily life and landscapes of the 19th century Orient. His brush caught the narrow lanes of 1860s Constantinople in Stradă din Constantinopol and the old Brașov clock tower in Turnul și strada Bărăției. He also recorded rural scenes like Țărani la cosit (amiază) and the Prahova valley in Valea Prahovei. If you like travel sketches wrapped in warm colors, tap into his 1868 print Țărani la cosit (amiază).
