This is a 1974 drawing by Harold Cohen. He started as a painter, then moved into technology. In 1968 he began teaching in California. Soon after he worked at Stanford’s Artificial Intelligence Lab.
Aaron was his first drawing program. Early versions only made black-and-white line art. Cohen later added colors by hand to this piece.
