Overview
Two sheets of topographical drawings by A. C. Pugin depict the coronation of George IV at Westminster Abbey on 19 July 1821, showing the archbishop of Canterbury placing the crown on the king’s head with a view down the choir and nave. The architectural elements were drawn by Pugin, while the numerous figures were rendered by James Stephanoff.
