Artist
Turner

Turner is a Romanticism artist. 12 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Turner loved storms so much he once tied himself to a ship’s mast just to feel one, and he painted the light like no one else—even blurring his watercolors with his fingers to make the air shimmer. A friend once told me how he’d stand outside for hours watching the fog roll over London’s docks, then rush home to capture it in watercolor before it changed. Your eye can start with the golden haze in *San Giorgio Maggiore*, where Venice dissolves into light, or chase the drama in *Shore Scene, Sunset*, where waves and sky become one.
