Kirk is an Impressionism artist. 13 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

This British artist left a small but vivid trail of watercolours, all painted around 1940. In them we see Dorset’s shoreline and rivers in spare, fresh washes: Lyme Regis Bay, Poole Harbour, Weymouth Sands. The same pockets of coast reappear—Weymouth, the Stour at Blandford—each sheet recording tide, light, and the plain geometry of piers and boats. Tap Weymouth Sands to step onto the same shingle you’re looking at.
