Alfred Macalik is an artist. 10 works are cataloged here, principally at Țării Crișurilor Museum.

Alfred Macalik painted quiet, warm rooms and soft evening scenes in the 1920s and 1940s. His prints show a garden table glowing after sunset, and his oils fill scarlet parlors with carved chairs and candle stands. These pictures belong to no big school—just everyday places lit by ordinary light. See how the red walls in *Interior roșu* (1946) catch the last glow of day, or step into the print *Contrejour (Apus de soare la Oradea)* (1927) for a view over a Romanian balcony at twilight. Tap any of these works to wander a little further into his calm, colored corners.
