Ion Stoica Dumitrescu is a social realism artist. 14 works are cataloged here, principally at National Museum of Romanian History.

Ion Stoica Dumitrescu made paintings, prints, and sculpture that look like historical scenes you’d see in old books. In 1917 he painted Înmormântare, a funeral scene with dark coats and deep shadows, and Lupta nocturna de la Baia, a bronze showing fighters on a moonlit battlefield. Other prints show Ștefan cel Mare receiving visitors and Mihai Viteazul on horseback beside a bold soldier. If you like stories turned into art, tap La arat, a print of two men guiding a plow across a field.
