K.A.C. Creswell

K.A.C. Creswell is an artist. 18 works are cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.
He spent years crawling across the Middle East with a bulky camera, measuring every arch and dome with his lens. His photos feel like blueprints because he cared more about how things were built than how they looked at sunrise. You’ll find them in the Architecture department at the V&A, but his real secret is turning stone into poetry—like the honeycombed ceiling in Khan Murjan, Bagdad.
